It is always a pleasure to be introduced to something that is new to me but that is very old. It just reminds me that there is nothing new under the sun. There are many who have gone before us all over the world who have been practicing what we are struggling to discover.
The concept of ako describes a teaching and learning relationship, where the educator is also learning from the student and where educators’ practices are informed by the latest research and are both deliberate and reflective.
