from John Gonder jgonder@mac.com
Wanted to share some stuff with you all. We talked about WIKIs before, and I know a lot of you have used them. I got turned on to a new personal WIKI - from Jeremy Ruston at http://WWW.TiddlyWiki.com as a way for the students and their groups to collaborate, store their work, and communicate. It's intended as a personal storage - PDA and other things. I'm using it to organise the many bits I used to keep in multiple web pages. The one TW page takes the place of 10 or 15 pages I had previously, and automatically generates links among the info. The latest code has tags - I haven't used it yet, but will start in a week or so - it's really useful.
