Interesting article in the San Francisco Chronicle about Wikimedia - the charitable foundation, the family of web sites and the Wikipedia community.
... the foundation must continue to expand Wikipedia beyond its core of smart, geeky and mostly male contributors to become a fully representative, mainstream encyclopedia.
